Free Download Mozilla Firefox 4 Beta

Posted on December 11, 2010 by computer

Internet - Mozilla Firefox 4 beta finally made, a new web browser. have been developed for a while now. Firefox version 4 release is Beta 1 and is the first version that is stable enough to be used by ordinary users, although some bugs are still there and you may have some compatibility issues with the plugin you've been using version 3.x.

Some things have changed in the new version of the browser. The first is the user interface. Mozilla Firefox has been working to make mozilla firefox 4 is more sleek and modern. Tabs have been moved above the regular menu (similar to Google Chrome). Menu bar has been completely lost and replaced with a single button, called Firefox button.

Other changes include accident protection. When a plugin decides to crash, just crashes the current web page and not the entire browser. All you need to do now is to re-open tabs and navigate back to your place.

Flash Drive / Flash Disk

Posted on December 08, 2010 by computer

Computer - Often referred to as a USB Flash Drive, Pen Drive, Pocket Drive, Thumb Drive, or microdisk. A data storage device NAND type flash memory that has an integrated USB interface. Flash drives are typically small, lightweight, and can be read and written with ease. In November 2006, the capacity is available for USB flash drives from 128 megabytes to 64 gigabyte.Di in these devices, embedded controllers and data storage memory of a non - volatile alias will not be lost even though there is no power.
Flash components are simpler and relatively less compared to the hard drive. This is because the flash does not need a dish, motor, or other parts that work mechanically.
Age flash is now running about 10 years (during normal use)

MOTHERBOARD
Computer - The motherboard or mainboard is the main board where there is a component- component and a controller chip that is responsible for managing data traffic in the system motherboard. On the motherboard there is also a socket for proces s or, slots are used for the installation of the card components such as VGA Card, Sound Card, Internal Modem, and others.

Now many brands and types of motherboards. For those of you who want to assemble their own computer, I recommend to be careful in selecting the brand and type of motherboard. A common motherboard problems will be discussed further according to this case.

Definition Motherboard
The Board is a board mother / main board or main board where all devices mounted from the processor, memory, expansion slots, etc.. Mainboard not Equally important to the processor. If we let in humans, the mainboard is a series of blood vessels and nerves in the computer. Mainboard which less good, will not yield maximum performance other peripherals. Therefore, the selection of an appropriate mainboard will greatly affect computer performance.

VGA (Video Graphics Adapter)

Computer - VGA stands for Video Graphics Adapter is an analog computer display standard first marketed by IBM in 1987. Although the standard VGA is no longer used because it has been replaced by a newer standard, VGA is still implemented on Pocket PC. VGA is the latest graphics standard that is followed by the majority of computer graphics card manufacturer. Display windows even now still using VGA mode because it is supported by many manufacturers of monitors and graphics cards.

CPU

Computer - CPU stands for is the Central Processing Unit. CPU is responsible for performing all of the mathematical calculations required by the computer to function properly. Because the computer can not function without the CPU (which may also be referred to as the central processor or just the processor alone), it is not uncommon to hear people refer to the CPU as the "brains" of a computer.

ROM (Read Only Memory)

Posted on by computer

ComputerRead-only Memory (ROM) is an English term for computer data storage medium. ROM stands for Read-Only Memory, ROM is one that exists in computer memory. ROM is usually permanent, meaning that the program / data that is stored in ROM is not easily lost or changed while power failure.

Storing the data in ROM can not be done easily, but reading data from ROM can be done easily. Usually the program / data contained in ROM is filled by the manufacturer.Because of these properties, ROM is used to store the firmware (software that is closely related to hardware).

One example is the ROM BIOS ROM that contains the basic program a computer system set up / prepare all equipment / components in the computer when the computer is turned on.

Modern ROM found in the form of IC, just as the storage medium / other memory such as RAM. To distinguish it needs to read the text that are listed on its IC. Usually starts with 27xxx number, number 27 indicates the type of ROM, xxx indicates the capacity in kilo bits (not kilo bytes).

History of computing

Posted on by computer

The first use of the word "computer" was recorded in 1613, referring to a person who carried out calculations, or computations, and the word continued to be used in that sense until the middle of the 20th century. From the end of the 19th century onwards though, the word began to take on its more familiar meaning, describing a machine that carries out computations.
The history of the modern computer begins with two separate technologies—automated calculation and programmability—but no single device can be identified as the earliest computer, partly because of the inconsistent application of that term. Examples of early mechanical calculating devices include the abacus, the slide rule and arguably the astrolabe and the Antikythera mechanism, an ancient astronomical computer built by the Greeks around 80 BC. The Greek mathematician Hero of Alexandria (c. 10–70 AD) built a mechanical theater which performed a play lasting 10 minutes and was operated by a complex system of ropes and drums that might be considered to be a means of deciding which parts of the mechanism performed which actions and when

A computer is a programmable machine that receives input, stores and manipulates data, and provides output in a useful format.

While a computer can, in theory, be made out of almost anything , and mechanical examples of computers have existed through much of recorded human history, the first electronic computers were developed in the mid-20th century (1940–1945). Originally, they were the size of a large room, consuming as much power as several hundred modern personal computers (PCs). Modern computers based on integrated circuits are millions to billions of times more capable than the early machines, and occupy a fraction of the space. Simple computers are small enough to fit into mobile devices, and can be powered by a small battery. Personal computers in their various forms are icons of the Information Age and are what most people think of as "computers". However, the embedded computers found in many devices from MP3 players to fighter aircraft and from toys to industrial robots are the most numerous.
